In the case of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) vs. Frederick J. Hanna & Associates, P.C., the CFPB sued Hanna & Associates for blindly filing lawsuits in large volumes without knowing the facts first. It is alleged that these suits were filed without proper supporting documentation to prove these debts and without attorney involvement. Hanna & Associates filed such a large volume of suits that the CFPB is stating many of these suits had little to no attorney involvement or review.
